Blackpool in Winter: Empty Seats in the Shelters

I’ve decided to resurrect this blog on my MonoZone website, as well as updating the galleries. It’s very much a work in progress, though how much progress will be made is anyone’s guess.

I’ve also been experimenting with different themes , most of which have thrown up a quirk or two.

I’ve added an Instagram link to my new MonoZone account there.

All I need now is some readers and hopefully subscribers!

As I live near the Fylde Coast in North-West England and it’s February, what better subject to photoblog about than the seaside in winter. This post is the first in what I hope will be a series.

Even when it’s cold and windy, I’m still drawn to our local resorts. Whilst I might miss the warmth of summer, I certainly don’t miss all the people. And there’s no shortage of places to sit down, sheltered from the wind, looking out to sea.

These photographs were all taken in Blackpool using a Fuji x100s camera.

I’ve even got myself a logo.

Oh, what fun I’ve had today!
